We offer an economy package every day which includes the Muffin Morning Breakfast, the Lazy Morning Breakfast, or the Sunny Morning Breakfast. The cost is $89.00.

Our Romantic Evening Package at $109.00 includes all five breakfast choices. When checking in, you will find chilled sparkling juice, homemade chocolates, sweet breads, or cookies (homemade!), cheese and crackers, fresh fruits, and a rose for your lady. We offer dish network television, a treadmill, and a refrigerator stocked with juice, soft drinks, and water. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are also available. There is a mircowave, a coffee maker, and a toaster for your use.

The cottage is totally private. In the spring and summer you can walk on the grounds and see Norma's "garden in progress". The roses are lovely in mid-summer, or you can come in the autumn and enjoy the wonderful fall colors.

The cottage can sleep four, if you are willing to share the bath and jacuzzi. Privacy will be limited for the "extra" couple. The cost is $30.00 per extra person.

Rose Cottage is now offering group packages. We hope that you will find some to be an experience that you would like to share with us. In July, our newest package, The Sweet Rose of Sharon, will become available.  This package requires a two night stay and a minimum of two persons.  I will need at least a two week advance notice to prepare your supplies. A deposit of $100.00 is needed to assure your preferred date. The complete package is described below.
What you get:

• The cottage for two nights.  (We can sleep four if you are willing to sleep on a hide-a-bed and share a bath.)The Country Rose room will also be available for an even larger group.
  
• Inspirational movies to watch and a basket of "goodies' to enjoy. Gospel music to listen to as you relax.
  
• Lesson sheets teaching about "praying the word" and 'models' to help you grow in prayer. Candy-making class with needed supplies and recipes.
  
• Two candy molds with brushes.  The molds will be roses or scripture molds (if available).
  
• One light breakfast and one full country breakfast.
  
• Two light meals, and vouchers for dinner at a restaurant of your choice in nearby Madison.

PRICE:  $400.00 per couple...$100.00 for each extra person.

First night:
       Settle into your home for the next two nights.  Relax in the cottage (or in my home) with a light supper and dessert. If you arrive early and the weather is nice, you can take a prayer walk in the garden or stroll through the village of Canaan. You could also play yard games that we provide or read a good inspirational book. Later, you will have inspirational movies to watch or books to read.

Chocolate Morning:
       Nine A.M...wake up to a light breakfast of cereals, fruit and warm homemade muffins. After breakfast, your host will teach about prayer using the 'model' and the book, Praying God's Word, by Beth Moore. Then you can "practice" what you've learned by walking through the garden and using the scriptures provided to do a prayer walk.  We will also discuss how to begin writing your prayers in a prayer journal.Your host will prepare your chocolate-making adventure while you are in the garden. Then return to Norma's kitchen to learn how to make molded chocolate candies. After packaging up your sweets (If you don't eat them all!), Norma will serve a light lunch.

Historic Afternoon:
       After lunch, you can take the short drive into Madison and visit the unique antique shops in our small city. You may choose to take a trolley ride from the visitor's center and see the historic sights and homes. When you finish your afternoon, you can use your food vouchers to eat at one of Madison's fine restaurants. You may choose Italian,  steakhouse, or buffet dining.  You must choose which restaurant when you make your reservations, so that I can purchase your food vouchers.

Peaceful Evening:
       After returning to Rose Cottage you can relax in the jacuzzi tub, read a good book, and enjoy a quiet evening in the country.  It would also be a good time to meditate on all the blessings that God has given to you. Perhaps you will want to begin a prayer journal to write your prayers to the Lord.

Heading Home:
       At nine A.M. wake up  to a full country breakfast.  Visit awhile with Norma and share your good memories.  Then pack up and head home with all your chocolates and supplies.

The Sweet Chocolate Rose  package requires a two night stay and a minimum of two persons.  I need a two week advance notice to get all your supplies ready.  A deposit of $100.00, is needed to secure your preferred date.  This package would be especially fun for a 'woman's day out.'

• Two candy molds with brushes.  Rose or seasonal molds or boxes.
  
• One light breakfast and one full country breakfast.
  
• Two light lunches and a voucher for dinner at a fine restaurant in Madison.

First Night
       Settle into your home for the next two nights.  relax in the cottage (or my home) with a light sandwich supper and dessert.  If you arrive early, you can take a walk in the garden or the quaint village of Canaan.  I can also take you on a tour of our wonderful little museum; if you let me know when you book that you would like to do so.  If the weather is nice you can sit and relax on the porch or play some of the yard games provided in the cottage.  Perhaps you could choose a good book or movie from our wide selection.

Chocolate Morning:
       Nine A.M....wake up to a light breakfast of cereal, fruit and warm homemade muffins.  Relax after breakfast, while your host readies your candy-making adventure.  At eleven return to Norma's kitchen to learn how to use molds and flavorings to make long-stemmed chocolate roses or the cottage's famous chocolate box filled with tiny hearts and flowers. (Other molds are also available.)  After packaging up your sweet treats ( or eating some), Norma will serve you another light lunch.

Historic Afternoon:
       After lunch, you can take the short drive into Madison and visit the unique antique malls and shops in our small city.  You may choose to take a trolley ride to see the historic homes and buildings.  When you finish shopping and touring, you can walk along the Ohio River before having dinner at a fine restaurant.  You may choose Italian, buffet dining, or a seafood restaurant.  (You will choose when you make your reservation so that I can purchase your $20.00 food vouchers.)

Peaceful Evening:
       After returning home to rose Cottage you can relax in the jacuzzi tub and enjoy the peaceful and quiet country setting after your busy day.  You can spend the evening reading, watching television or movies, or playing board games.

Heading Home:
       At nine A. M. wake up to a full country breakfast chosen from one of our menus.  Visit awhile with Norma and share your good memories.  Then pack up and head home with all your chocolates and supplies.
