From Versailles:
Take Hwy 421 south towards Madison. In a few miles you will see Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge on your right. You will follow this fenced in area for several miles. Turn left on Hwy 250, just before you reach the gated entrance to the wildlife refuge. The road is very curvy with many switchbacks. At the bottom of a steep hill, Hwy 62 joins Hwy 250. Do not turn, cross the bridge. You will see a sign that says “Canaan 3 miles”. As you are entering Canaan the road makes a sharp left. You have almost made it! Just a few hundred feet past the “Canaan” sign, you will go down a tiny hill. My drive way is at the bottom of this little hill. You will see the sign for Rose Cottage.

From Madison:
Take Hwy 421 north towards Versailles. Just past the gated entrance to Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge turn left onto Hwy 250. Follow the directions as listed above.
